Every registered domain is listed in a public database called WHOIS with the holder's name, email, phone and address. WHOIS privacy (ID Protection) replaces that information with privacy details, preventing spam, sales calls and fraud attempts.
You can enable it when registering the domain in the cart or later from the domain page in your client area. Some extensions, such as .do, do not allow hiding the holder's details.
