Your backups are stored off the server, in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage, so they stay safe even if the server fails.
Backup plans
- Basic 5 GB — free: weekly copies, the last 4 are kept.
- Standard 20 GB, Pro 50 GB and Business 100 GB: daily copies and more copies kept.
Some hosting plans already include a backup plan. Activate the free one or upgrade from My services → your hosting → Backups.
What you can do yourself
- Back up now before an important change.
- Restore your whole account, only files and email, or a single database. We e-mail you when it starts and when it finishes.
- Download a copy to your computer.
- See the space used: if you go over your plan, we keep the latest copy and let you know so you can upgrade.
